If you must ignore the free radical destruction science, then how about general biochemistry of nutrition. The body must maintain a PH of 7.43 to be healthy. Excess acid is sent to the lymphatic system.
All foods ingested create either an alkaline ash or an acidic ash in the intestine which then affects the PH of the body. Fruits and vegetables create an alkaline ash, increasing PH while proteins, fats, starches, oils, legumes create an acidic ash decreasing PH to acid.

There are lot’s of studies supporting this. Eggs are considered to have the best protein. Did you know many scientists consider protein from red meat to be a major factor in the development of the human brain? If you eat too much you it out it doesn’t harm your kidneys or liver animal fat on the other hand does.

The liver and kidneys can only process n amount of protein, greater than that and you tax their ability to function properly. No animal protein is best, since no free radicals will be created, hence no destruction of muscle tissue.

You can try it out. Normally people who are good at storing fat, react badly to diets. But if you convert it to all proteins, sometimes your metabolism increases. But it is easier to do exercises and chi kung (nei gong) in the mornings, as that boosts your metabolism automatically.
Sorry, but that … Sorry, but that part about requiring 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight is absolutely false. It’s propaganda from the protein supplement companies. Back in the 40s and 50s when guys were much more conservative about their protein intake, they were building plenty of quality muscle. You do need more than the average sedentary person, but nowhere near as much as they would have you believe.

I have read tons of articles on protein suplement research, not one has mentioned that it is destructive or harmful in any way.
Some that I have read have mentioned that horses can get protein poisoning but there has not been any documented evidence that claims humans get any bad side effects from taking in to much protein. But ofc everything is up for debate, some say carbohydrates are bad for you, while some asian cultures have high carb diets and still live longer then most.
I would start to … I would start to count on how many cals you are taken a day. You would be surprized on how much everything adds up. There is a cal counter on market for smart phones. I wgh 220lbs 6’0 ft with 7% body fat. I take about 200 grams of protein a day. Just like with anything else you have to watch and play with it a bit before you can get it just right! GIGIDDY! Your body will be diff than others! But the Golden rule is ask your doc. But deff start and find out how much cals your intaking!
I weight 200lbs, … I weight 200lbs, but I’m not muscly. More chubby. I do train a lot of Wing Chun but no weight lifting or pure fitness workouts. I don’t necessarily eat unhealthy or eat a lot actually, but my body seams to be fast in putting everything for reserve. I was wondering, if a protein shake would be a good thing for me too to maybe counter my bodies effect. I train evenings and maybe it would help if I didn’t take anything except proteins (in any form) from late afternoons on. Is this idea recommended?

Nutrition is a … Nutrition is a touchy subject to start. Everyone has a different viewpoint as to why one should take protein, whether it’s whey, natural sources such as beef, chicken, turkey or to take AA, etc, etc.
I see everyone is … I see everyone is giving Jin a hard time but if you listen and hear him- your right to much of anything is bad for you. Jin is on the right track with this because According to the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), the human body can handle up to 0.91 g of protein per lb a day; but always consult your doctor. He is trying to show you the way to path. This goes back to what Master Lee said which peeps forget about if you stare at my finger you will miss all the glory of the moon.
