    @semistoner1 Acai …
    @semistoner1 Acai berries & Goji berries, I think goji means happy :) they are exotic, so there are accents on the way they are pronounced from the way they are spelt.

    Canola oil has the …
    Canola oil has the second highest concentration of ALA next to flax seed oil, coconut oil has only trace amounts. So when you say canola oil doesn’t have healthful fat, it’s massively misleading. When talking about iron in leafy greens, I feel you should make a note to discuss bioavailablity and the issue with phytate. The heme iron from red meat has a much greater bioavailability, something you conveniently left out when saying leafy greens have more iron then red meat.

    One time I was …
    One time I was staying over at a friend’s house and the next morning he made me breakfast, a while bunch of fresh sliced apples and bananas drizzled gently with honey.

    Is that a good breakfast to regularly have? I was wondering about the natural sugar content of the fruit itself, and if the benefit of putting honey on it is worth the added sugar?

    How can we weed …
    How can we weed through misleading advertising to find genuinely good, minimally processed super foods? I see tons of things in the store that advertise those things, but I honestly can’t tell if it’s actually what I’m looking for. Where I live there is no fresh food market, only a stop and shop. I always get tons of veggies (fruit is out of season, very expensive) and cook at home instead of eating out, but I don’t know where I could find some of these foods in a healthy non-manipulated form.
