Today I am making a green juice, lemon ginger blast with spinach, celery, apples, courgette, lemon and ginger to hydrate, alkalize and energize my day. Also a green smoothie of banana, dates and spinach. Some almond milk how to make and a selection of nuts and seeds consisting of walnuts for omega 3 fatty acids, brazil nuts for selenium and manganese and pumpkin seeds for zinc. The almonds are high in calcium. I have a carrot and ginger juice as a pre or post workout meal and my cooked food option is brown rice and brown lentils

. Find a cheering section. Social support means a lot. Programs like Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers use group support to impact weight loss and lifelong healthy eating. Seek out supportwhether in the form of family, friends, or a support groupso that you can get the encouragement you need.
. Slow and steady wins the race. Aim to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week to ensure healthy weight loss. Losing weight too fast can take a toll on your mind and body, making you feel sluggish, drained, and sick. When you drop a lot of weight quickly, you are actually losing mostly water and muscle, rather than fat.
. Set goals to keep you motivated. Short-term goals, like wanting to fit into a bikini for the summer, usually dont work as well as goals like wanting to feel more confident or become healthier for your childrens sakes. When frustration and temptation strike, concentrate on the many benefits you will reap from being healthier and leaner.

We probably all know someone who does those diets religiously, bouncing from one plan to another each month, eating nothing but lettuce, etc. And it seems no sooner they stop their diet they pile all their weight back on.
